PWHL appoints Bauer Hockey as official jersey partner for the 24-25 season

The PWHL will unveil redesigned jerseys for the 2024-25 season as part of the league’s “newly expanded partnership” with Bauer Hockey, according to THE ATHLETIC’s Hailey Salvian. Under the multi-year agreement, the equipment company – one of the league’s current equipment partners – will serve as the PWHL’s first official jersey partner, “responsible for official play and replica jerseys for the league’s six teams.” While details about names and logos are being “kept secret by the PWHL,” the new Bauer jerseys will have a “brand new look.” PWHL SVP/Hockey Operations Jayna Hefford said team names and logos are “currently ‘in the works’ and will be officially unveiled when ready.” Hefford said the expanded partnership with Bauer was “months in the making.” Bauer Hockey VP/Global Marketing Mary-Kay Messier said a “portion of replica jersey sales will go back into the game and help create and support a program designed to introduce more girls to hockey.” Messier adds that it will be a new program that is “expected to start next season with all six teams in the league” (THE ATHLETIC, 5/9).
