Patrick Mahomes’ Chiefs Set To Host Zay Jones To Address Rashee Rice’s Absence Amid WR’s Ongoing Legal Troubles

The Jacksonville Jaguars released Zay Jones after he signed a three-year contract with the team. The Jags decided to release him a year before his contract expired and saved $4.49 million on the salary cap by releasing him. After all was said and done, Jones was released shortly after the team’s Brian Thomas Jr. had signed in the NFL Draft.

Now the veteran wideout is looking for a new home and in his quest to do so, he has spoken to many teams. He has already visited the Dallas Cowboys, the Titans and the Cardinals. However, according to Adam Schefter, Jones still has a team to cross off his list.

According to Schefter’s latest Instagram post, Jones will seek advice from the Kansas City Chiefs on Thursday. Schefter’s post on Instagram said: “Former Jaguars WR Zay Jones will visit the Kansas City Chiefs on Thursday, according to league sources,” and that “After Jacksonville released him last week, Jones visited the Titans, Cardinals and Cowboys – with the Chiefs on deck.”
