PressBox: What’s a bucket list place you’ve never been to?

Regan Kielmeyer: I’ve been to almost 50 countries, so a bucket list place I’ve never been to would probably be Brazil. My family and I have been traveling ever since I can remember.

PM: What’s the coolest place you’ve ever been?

RK: The coolest place I’ve ever been is India. India is super cool, partly because it is huge. There are so many people everywhere. Every part of India we went to was different, so there is the Taj Mahal and then there are parts where you drive for three hours through mustard seed fields. It’s completely out of this world, I would say.

PM: What’s your favorite Patriot League road trip?

RK: Favorite Patriot League road trip would be Holy Cross because I love flying to Boston. My brother lives in Boston, so he makes an hour drive to Worcester, Massachusetts, and gets to see my playing.

PM: What is your favorite ‘guilty’ food?

RK: My favorite guilty food is s’mores. I love the whole process of making the s’mores and I love anything with a s’mores flavor.

PM: What is your favorite pre-game meal and snack?

RK: A foreplay meal consists of eggs and cheese on a toasted bagel. Pregame snack would probably be cold brew coffee and GoGo Squeez applesauce.

PM: Who was your favorite sports star growing up?

RK: Kai Lenny. He is a professional surfer. I know he also does skateboarding and snowboarding. He is an extreme sports athlete and does the craziest things. He overcomes all barriers. He does somersaults on a surfboard. He will do a quadruple somersault into a wave. He’s super sick, and he’s definitely my favorite.

PM: What was your favorite sports team growing up?

RK: Definitely the New York Yankees. My mother is originally from the Bronx, so we grew up watching countless Yankees games right behind the bullpen. We would scream and we would squeal, and it was just the best time. I have some signed balls.

PM: What is your favorite movie of all time?

RK: “Perfect pitch”

PM: What’s your go-to karaoke song?

RK: It would probably be “Bang Bang” by Jessie J, Ariana Grande and Nicki Minaj.

PM: What is your favorite activity on a day off?

RK: Hang out with my parents when they’re in town. They’re usually here the day after a game on the weekend, and I think that’s my favorite thing to do.
